GREAT LOCAL WALKS

We are an easy 25 minute walk from Penlee Point, a further 45 minutes on you can reach the stunning Rame Head, pictured in the Timothy Spall movie Turner. In the opposite direction you can reach the amazing Mount Edgcumbe Country Park in just 45 minutes. You can visit the main house, boutique shops, local artists workshops, cafes and tea rooms. The pub is just 10 metres from Kingsand Bay beach and the vast Tregantle Beach is 7 minutes drive.

From Easter – October half term we are also incredibly lucky to have the Cawsand Ferry which takes you from Cawsand beach (5 mins walk from pub) straight to the Barbican in Plymouth. The ferry is a beautiful 30 minute journey along the Cornish Costline and only costs £6 per person.
